Excalibur Hotel Las Vegas

My Unpleasent Stay At The Excalibur Hotel Las Vegas

This is my own personal experience from when I stayed at the Excalibur Hotel, Las Vegas in early May of 2019. I did not receive any form of compensation for my Excalibur Hotel Las Vegas review.

I Never Expected To Find This

When I arrived at Excalibur Hotel Las Vegas, they gave me a room upgrade from the resort tower to the newly renovated royal towers. I probably should have taken a good look around when I first got the room but I was in a hurry to go see some sites so I just left my luggage and took off. Late that night, when I returned to my room I noticed that maintenance had left a hair on the soap dish. So I tried to call the front desk but the phone did not work. Since I was exhausted, I decided I would go tell them the next morning. Then the next morning, I noticed that there were ants crawling all over in the bathroom.

Wasting My Vacation Waiting In Line For Concierge

Since the phone in the room did not work. I had to go wait in line to speak to the concierge. Compared to other resorts, Excalibur Hotel Las Vegas has some of the longest wait lines on the strip. So having to stand in one is probably one of the last things anyone wants to do while on vacation. When I finally got to tell the concierge about all the issues with the room. They told me that they would have maintenance fix it all for me. Meanwhile, I went to enjoy some sites. Once I returned to my room in the late afternoon, I noticed that nothing had been fixed. So once again I went to stand in line for concierge and told them to fix the problems with the room. At this point, they credited my resort fees and promised that they would fix the problems.

My Last Night At The Excalibur

Once again, it was late by the time I got back to my room. In fact, the concierge desk had already closed for the evening. Despite the fact that they said that the hair would be removed from the soap dish, the ants would be gone and that the phone would be fixed. In reality, they didn’t address any of the issues with the room. I got to take another shower all while trying to avoid coming into contact with someone else’s pubic hair. Mind you, I was really happy to get out of there the next morning and I don’t plan on ever staying at Excalibur Hotel in Las Vegas ever again!

All things considered, I highly recommend staying somewhere else in Las Vegas than at the Excalibur Hotel!

Accommodations

There are accommodations all over Las Vegas. Keep in mind that almost all hotels on the strip will charge you an additional resort fee once you check in. These resort fees range from $30-$60 per night and are not part of the fees for booking your trip online. My link will search through all the online sites to find you the best price available.
