Art O Mat

Art O Mat – A Miniature Art Vending Machine!

Art Vending Machines

Since it is no longer legal to sell cigarettes in vending machines, a lot of cigarette machines have ended up in the trash. In a genius way to recycle them and promote small artists, Clark Whittington created the Art-O-Mat. Six of these are featured at the Cosmopolitan.

Instead of selling cigarettes, the machines now sell miniature art. In order to fit in the machine, all art pieces must fit in a 2×3 inch box. Consequently, you will find things like small paintings, buttons, jewelry, and other tiny items.

Travel Secrets

  • Art O Mat are old machines.  They do take time to activate after you have inserted your cash. With this in mind, give it a few seconds before pulling the lever so that it won’t jam.
  • There are six machines inside the Cosmopolitan

Hours

The Art O Mat machines are located inside the Cosmopolitan casino. As a result, they are accessible 24 hours a day.

Accommodations

There are accommodations all over Las Vegas. Keep in mind that almost all hotels on the strip will charge you an additional resort fee once you check in. These resort fees range from $30-$60 per night and are not part of the fees for booking your trip online. My link will search through all the online sites to find you the best price available.

By purchasing your trip through my link, this site will earn a small commission on your purchase. Rest assured that it will not cost you anything extra! In fact the only difference is that this site will earn a commission instead of another booking site. Thank your sponsorship!
