The 1850 house is a representation of an upper-middle-class family home during the most prosperous period in New Orleans. Being that it is decorated the way it would have looked like when it opened it’s doors in 1850. Visiting the 1850 house is like taking a trip through time.
Open:

Admission:

Plan to spend 30-45 minutes here. There is a gift shop as you walk in. Don’t forget to bring a camera.
There are accommodations all over New Orleans. I recommend the Best Western Plus French Quarter for comfort and convenience.
