Drury Plaza Hotel

Drury Plaza Hotel In Santa Fe

With beautiful views of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, the stylish Drury Plaza hotel is a 5-minute walk from the 17th-century Palace of the Governors and is right next door to cathedral Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi. The stylish hotel used to be a hospital. In 2014, it was transformed into the Drury hotel. As a results, the rooms are extra large and modern. The Drury Plaza hotel prides themselves on superior service and making the guest feel special. Which is why they offer afternoon popcorn and an evening kickback. complete with three free alcoholic drinks and a large selection of snacks. There are so many snacks and different items that one could easily have free dinner at the hotel during the evening kickback.

Check out the kickback menu here.

Rooms

Spacious rooms with leather armchairs, granite counter-tops, comfortable beds, microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, flat screen TVs and complimentary Wi-Fi. Suites have a whirlpool tub, separate living rooms with pull out sofas. Some even have fireplaces and/or balconies.

Bathroom

One of the most impressive features at the Drury Plaza Hotel are the upscale bathrooms with a separate bathtub and glass walk in shower. They are so big that one can almost hear an echo while talking in there.  Unlike most hotels, the Drury is environmentally conscious. They have completely eliminated small plastic shampoo and body wash containers and have replaced them with a dispenser instead. Personally I love this because those little shampoo bottles never contain enough shampoo for my long hair.

Lobby

Beautiful relaxing lounge, complete with limestone fireplaces, leather sofas, beautiful chandeliers and a gorgeous modern decor. AS a bonus, the lobby has a library full of books that can be borrowed.

Pool

Wonderful rooftop pool, complete with bar and fire pit. The pool is heated year round with a waterfall in one corner and a whirlpool for relaxing. Plenty of loungers around the pool to relax in. The pool bar gets pretty busy in the evenings.

24 hour Fitness Center

Nice , large fitness center with free weights, weight training machines and plenty of cardio equipment to keep you fit during your stay.

Travel Secret

The majority of hotels in Santa Fe only have paid and or valet parking. This may seem a little excessive but it’s because there is barely any parking available in Santa Fe. All public parking are valet only. One of the nice parts about parking at the Drury Hotel is that if you still have sites to see in Santa Fe after you check out. You can leave your vehicle in the parking and pick it up when you are ready to move to your next destination.
