Finding a quiet hotel close to the French Quarter can be quite a challenge. The Best Western Plus French Quarter Landmark Hotel is walking distance from Bourbon St and all of the French Quarter attractions. It’s one of the few well insulated hotels that offer a peaceful night. If comfort and convenience is what you are looking for. Come try out the Best Western Plus French Quarter Landmark Hotel. You won’t be disappointed!
Rooms are very clean, the beds and pillows are comfortable and allow for a good nights rest.Overall the room was very clean and modern. Since it was well insulated I did not have to overhear others in the room next door. Featuring marble countertops in a spacey bathroom. I can’t stand it when you try to take a hot shower but the water never gets hot enough. Thankfully the hot water at the Best Western Plus French Quarter Hotel was actually hot. On top of that, there is a beautiful little french style courtyard with a heated pool where you can sit and relax in the sun or underneath the shade of the trees.
Most hotels in the French Quarter do not offer complimentary breakfast. Best Western Plus French Quarter Hotel is one of the few that does serve breakfast and the selection changed every day. One day was biscuits and gravy, another was make your own breakfast sandwich with a large variety of items that you could use. There was a breakfast platter day with all the fixings to make your own platter. All the food was delicious and they also had healthy options such as fruit and yogurt.
I showed up two hours too early for check in but they still got me into a room right away. The staff was extremely helpful. Once they realized that I was traveling alone. They gave me the safest route to walk back to the hotel after dark. New Orleans can get a little crazy after dark. On top of that, they also informed me of where to find police officers if ever I was being followed or harassed.
