Is The High Roller Happy Half Hour A Good Deal?

High Roller Happy half hour includes a ride in a pod with an all open bar and bartender to serve up your drinks. Rules are that the bartender cannot serve you another drink until everyone in the pod has been served at least one drink. You cannot bring any outside beverage on the high roller but if you do not want to do the half happy hour, you can purchase a drink at the bar before going into the ride. Only beverages purchased at the high roller bar or part of the happy hour are allowed in the pod.

Is it really worth it to take the half happy hour at the Linq high roller? Or not?

Considering it takes a bartender approximately 30 seconds to pour a glass of wine or a minute to make a drink such as a martini. The pods can hold up to 40 people but those are the ones without the bar. With the bar, the pod can hold up to 26 people but they usually limit it to 20 people.  Going during the day usually means less people the only problem is, the view is not as nice. You won’t get to see all the beautiful lights but you will get better bar service for your High Roller happy half hour.

It’s not even a full half happy hour!

Another factor to take into consideration is that the High roller is only a half hour and service stops 3/4 of the way in. If you are able to drink fast and there is not a whole lot of people in your pod. The High Roller Happy Half Hour will be a good deal for you. Sadly if you get a full pod, it probably won’t be worth it.  I’ve listed the 2019 drink menu prices below so that you can make the decision for yourself.

My Experience On The Happy Half Hour

I was really lucky when I went to try the High Roller.  There was no one else in our pod besides my friend and I.  Having the whole pod and bartender to ourselves was a wonderful experience.  She gave us a lot of fun facts and we didn’t have to wait for drink, as a matter of fact, she was waiting for us to hurry up and drink.  The views were incredible even during the day time.  The advantage was we got to see the mountains as well as Las Vegas.

Happy Half Hour On The Worlds Tallest Observation Wheel

Opened on March 31,2014 it is 9 feet taller than it’s predecessor, the Singapore Flyer which held the record from 2008-2014 as the tallest observation wheel in the world. The Linq will lose it’s record as the tallest observation wheel in the world this year when the Ain Dubai opens up later this year. But you still have time to ride it before it moves down to second place.
