I am fluent in both English and Canadian french. I was born in the United States from a french Canadian family. My parents didn’t pick up English as quickly as I did. So I started translating for them at a very young age. During my entire youth I was transferred between French and English schools. Which I didn’t mind because switching between English and French is easier than flipping a light switch for me.
