Thanks to the taxes collected from marijuana sales, Colorado is getting a giant makeover. The money is being used to repave streets, fix municipal buildings and improve neighborhoods. It provides housing for homeless and low income families. It funds new libraries, schools, drug prevention programs, school health programs, jail mental health programs and even scholarships. Many growers donate part of their profits to charities such as beast cancer research.
